A pioneer in integrating chiropractic into hospitals, William Morgan, D.C., has been credentialed in five hospitals, including the National Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. In 2015, Walter Reed recognized him with the Master Clinician’s Award. Dr. Morgan has cared for Congress and the Supreme Court as the Capitol Chiropractor for the past 16 years and served the White House as a visiting consultant since 2007. He is currently the President of Parker University.
Dr. Morgan worked briefly in Liberia, West Africa, followed by 13 years of private practice in California, then 18 years in Washington, DC, in military hospitals and clinics at the White House, the United States Capitol, and on the sidelines of the Naval Academy Football team.
Dr. Morgan has completed a 2,000-hour fellowship in integrated healthcare and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. He has held adjunct faculty positions at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and New York Chiropractic College and served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
In 2011, Dr. Morgan was appointed to the United States Navy Musculoskeletal Continuum of Care Advisory Board and served on the Spine Subcommittee. A past member of the Board of Trustees for Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Morgan is also a veteran of military service.
Dr. Richard Harris is a board-certified internal medicine physician and pharmacist. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for pharmacy school, then pursued medical education at the McGovern School of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Harris is a life–long learner and completed his MBA at the University of Houston. He has a client-centric view, focused on building relationships and trust through a comprehensive lifestyle medicine system combined with genetic and micronutrient testing.
He currently runs an online health and wellness practice, is a partner in an education consulting firm, and consults for several companies. In his spare time, he is an avid reader, weightlifter, video game enthusiast, and author.
Dr. Courtney Gowin is a prenatal and pediatric chiropractor in Addison, Texas. She graduated from Parker University in 2013, and opened her practice, Free to Be Chiropractic, shortly after.
After seeing a void in the birth community, she opened the NEST, a prenatal wellness center. Dr. Gowin was named the “Young Chiropractor of the Year” in 2014 and is passionate about mentoring our future generation of chiropractors. She is a proud mother to three home–birthed baby girls and all 46 of the chickens on her family farm.
Dr. Kenneth Thomas, Senior Educational Consultant at Parker University, is a 1986 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. He has been a Parker faculty member, administrator, and team teacher since 1986.
Dr. Thomas received the Parker Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. He has lectured nationally and internationally on chiropractic and holds a master’s degree in physical therapy.
After 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Thomas is a respected expert in the chiropractic field and lectures extensively on the use of modalities and exercise in chiropractic practice, as well as the treatment of sports injuries, current healthcare trends, and various aspects of a wellness lifestyle.
Dr. Gregg Friedman is a second-generation chiropractor practicing in Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona, since 1987. He has taught chiropractors how to document for more than 20 years and consults with doctors, insurance companies, and attorneys.
Dr. Gregg Friedman is the founder of Got Documentation, a unique company specializing in professional chiropractic documentation.
Dr. Tammy Fogarty is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She earned her Ph.D. in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Fogarty’s research focused on improving the quality of life in breast cancer survivors by incorporating healthy dietary behaviors and restorative yoga.
As a researcher, educator, and nutritionist, she is passionate about providing education to health and wellness providers to prevent and manage chronic illness.
Dr. Fogarty is currently the Dean of Health and Human Performance at Parker University, where she teaches the Functional Nutrition program and oversees various degree programs.
Dr. Etienne Dubarry has 10 years of private practice in France and 30 in the United States. He taught for 10 years in Santiago, Chile, and Cordoba, Argentina, where he initiated the establishment of a full-time chiropractic course at the University Central Catholic in Santiago.
Dr. Dubarry was a guest speaker for the Florida Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Physician Association, and the Institute Franco-European de Chiropraxie Paris, France (IFEC). Dr. Dubarry is a current Keiser University advisory board member.
Dr. Dubarry teaches seminars in three languages and multiple countries through his Adjust for Success organization. He has authored three textbooks, translated in three languages, and is currently in private practice in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Dr. David Benevento graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) in 1981 and obtained his certified Chiropractic Sports Physician Designation from the American Chiropractic Association in 1988.
Dr. Benevento has completed the 300-hour course in Exercise Rehabilitation from LACC. He currently teaches the Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) Technique and Dynamic Tape for Southeast Sports Seminars and is the past President of the California Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Benevento currently practices in Folsom, California, where he has maintained an office since 1983.
Director of CE and Corporate Partnerships, Phyllis Frase-Charrette, works for Parker University coordinating Sponsor and Exhibitor relationships and managing Continuing Education for Parker Seminars. Phyllis has been a part of various chiropractic committees and in the chiropractic profession for over 20 years serving as a chiropractic assistant, trainer, office manager, and speaker for Parker’s annual seminars. She’s taken her motivational speaking nationally, representing Parker University at various state associations and chiropractic colleges all over the country providing insight on how to take chiropractic teams to the next level.
Since 1983, Kathy Mills Chang has been providing Chiropractors with hands-on training, advice and tools to improve the financial performance of their practices. Kathy is a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist (MCS-P), Certified Chiropractic Professional Coder (CCPC), and a Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistant (CCCA)
She is the Founder and CEO of KMC University, THE chiropractic reimbursement and compliance experts. She leads a team of 20+ in effectively assisting providers and teams with increasing revenue and reducing risk.
Dr. Rose Lepien, a native of Germany, is the owner and Senior Doctor at Aaragon Chiropractic Clinic in Lawton, Oklahoma with more than 43 years of experience applying the Parker Principles, Philosophies and Practice management Strategies on a daily basis in her practice. She offers a wealth of experience and knowledge relating to issues of employment, staff management, associate Doctors, patient treatment and case management as well as marketing and advertising.
She is a 1991 Graduate of Parker University. She has journeyed the path as a chiropractic assistant, office manager, student and Doctor of Chiropractic. She was a wife of a Chiropractor and mother of 3 Parker graduates and successful Doctor for 25 years.
Dr. Lepien has been very active in leadership roles and speaking engagements with Parker College, on the Board of Trustees, Parkers Seminars, WCWC, LCW, and in her local community. She has published and co-written several books and offers her own “Dr. Rose Lepien Female Chiropractic Student Scholarship” at Parker University.
